Our client in the financial services industry is looking for a HR Business Partner for a 12 month contract. This is a hybrid role (2 days a week in office) in North York.

As an HR Business Partner (HRBP), you will be a strategic partner to the organization's leadership team, responsible for aligning HR initiatives and functions with business objectives. You will play a pivotal role in driving employee engagement, talent management, and organizational effectiveness within your assigned business unit or department.

Roles and Responsibilities Collaborate with senior management to understand business goals and develop HR strategies that support organizational objectives. Participate in strategic workforce planning, identifying current and future talent needs. Provide coaching and leadership to business leaders and managers through various HR practices to grow capability in our people managers Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies. Interpret and communicate HR policies and procedures to employees and managers. Lead change initiatives within the business unit, supporting organizational restructuring, culture transformation, and change management efforts. Drive employee engagement and promote a positive work culture Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence and other business partners to develop and implement HR programs such as Talent Management and Performance Management effectively. Other duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills A degree or a diploma in Human Resources, Business or a related field 4+ years of HR Business Partner experience CHRP or CHRL considered a strong asset Experience with workday considered a asset Strong communication skills, both oral and written Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business needs into HR initiatives
