THE WORK:- (Internal Title-Program Management II)
- Career demonstrating extensive experience, having managed infrastructure programs and major projects.
- Responsible for managing senior level customer client relationships.
- Significant involvement in managing complex programs/projects across various industries and sectors.
- Leads teams of professionals providing PMO and Project Controls services on large projects or technical specialists recognized as experts in their own area of expertise.
- Experience in organizational strategy development and the creation of high-performance teams and a common culture.
- Apply industry acumen and expert-level Program management knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to meet Program requirements.
- Implement and manage the Program from inception through to completion.
- Set the overall direction for the Program and organize activities per the established mission and goals.
- Ensure that the work is fully supported from a consulting standpoint in an integrated, compliant, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
- Create and manage short and long-term Program goals and success criteria.
- Plan for and direct the appropriate means and methods to complete the Program services from inception through to completion.
- Forecast, in consultation with senior staff, the human and material resources required to complete the Program successfully.
- Exercise authority in managing the work and controlling the delivery of the Program per the operating and delivery plan.
- Manage a large consulting team (may consist of multi-firm resources and client resources) leveraging a diverse array of talents and delegation of responsibilities.
- Continually evolve and articulate the Program expectations while delegating and managing deliverables with team members.
- Ensure goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality, and team member performance.
- Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure Program goals are achieved.
- Plan for and meet with stakeholders (including senior management and sponsors) to make communication easy and transparent regarding Program issues and decisions on services.
- Direct accurate and timely reporting of Program status and performance throughout its life cycle.
- Identify and analyze Program risks and implement mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Review and ensure adherence to the overall operating or delivery plan scope, schedule, milestones, budgets, quality measures, and KPIs and address issues with corrective actions as appropriate.
- Deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations to various audiences, including the Program team, senior executives, key stakeholders, and Company Operations.
- Manage scope change negotiations.
- Clarify and resolve internal quality control checks and issues.
- Build and maintain a positive, high-performing team culture with an openness to constructive challenge, continuous improvement, implementation of lessons learned, and overall ‘right-first-time’ mindset.
- Monitor and manage clear and focused staff performance objectives (including non-company resources) to ensure excellence in results.
- Devise and provide Program management training to members of the team.

- Experience:
- Minimum of 18 years of experience in Project Management.
- Minimum of 4 years in Program Management.
- Education:
- Degree or equivalent with professional work experience in one or more specific disciplines in the Programme, Project or Commercial Management disciplines.
- Licenses OR Certifications:
- Holding recognized certifications including Project Management Professional (PMP) and Program Management Professional (PgMP).
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong experience across all technical delivery requirements across program and project level setup and delivery requirements.
- Core strategic and delivery capability for setting up effective project controls systems & procedures and the establishment of the Program Control Centre and digital capture of data and progress, cost and other relevant program data for central reporting purposes.
- Strategic and Detailed understanding of construction methodology, innovative methods of delivery, technology, planning, delivery, site logistics, commercial & legal/contract issues.
- Strategic and detailed knowledge of contract & commercial procedures.
- Excellent attention to strategy and detail with the ability to lead the delivery partner team for compliance relating to the service agreement with Client and actionable requirements to meet the program targets and objectives.
- Maintains full awareness of key tool sets available on the market in the consultancy, program, and project management arena ensuring relevance and world-class leading offer provided by the MCS JV Partnership.
- Expert grasp of prevailing Project Management methods.
- Extensive understanding of tools and metrics needed to evaluate project performance.
- Well-versed and experienced in managing the interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs.
- Able to autonomously formulate and make decisions on technical matters related to Program management services that have potential risk or commercial considerations with minimal consultation with leadership and Joint Venture Operations for soundness of approach.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Mastery of Project Management Software.
- Effective capacity to anticipate, identify, and minimize risks.
- Effectively lead large multi-disciplinary Program management teams.
- Demonstrated functional acumen to support how solutions will address client goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices.
- Proven success in providing on-site leadership for the project team by building and motivating staff to meet project goals, adhere to their responsibilities and project milestones.
- Ability to arrange priorities and escalate competing risks to meet deadlines with minimum input from leadership.
- Must have demonstrated experience relaying and receiving information (written and verbal) in a demanding multidisciplinary project environment.
- Expert ability to work collaboratively and independently on creative and analytical tasks in a structured, disciplined, technology-driven environment.
