Job Title: Student Recruitment Coordinator

Hours: 35.5 hours per week Location: Scarborough (in-person) Salary: Commensurate with experience Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Student Recruitment Coordinator to join our team. The Student Recruitment Coordinator will be responsible for attracting and engaging prospective students to enroll in our educational programs. This role involves developing recruitment strategies, building relationships with schools and community organizations, and representing our institution at recruitment events. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for education, and the ability to effectively convey the benefits of our programs to potential students. Administration: • Manage student enrollment processes, including admissions, registration, and course scheduling, while maintaining accurate student records and databases. • Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and implement educational policies, procedures, and curriculum enhancements to promote student success and academic excellence. • Serve as a liaison between students, faculty and administration addressing inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and professionally. • Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.) • Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures. • Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data. • Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary. • Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned. Cold calling to potential employers and clients Marketing: • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote educational programs, courses, and events offered by the institute. • Create compelling marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, newsletters, and digital content, to effectively communicate the institute's value proposition to target audiences. • Manage social media channels and online platforms to increase brand visibility and engagement among prospective students and educational partners. • Collaborate with internal teams to identify market trends, student needs, and competitive positioning, informing strategic decisions and marketing campaigns. • Conduct market research and analysis to assess the effectiveness of marketing efforts and identify opportunities for improvement. Recruitment: • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract prospective students to our educational programs. • Build and maintain relationships with high schools, colleges, community organizations, and other relevant stakeholders to generate leads and referrals. • Plan and execute recruitment initiatives, such as open houses, information sessions, and campus tours, to attract prospective students and drive enrollment. • Conduct presentations and workshops to promote our programs and answer questions from prospective students and parents. • Utilize various recruitment channels including social media, email campaigns, and direct outreach to reach prospective students. • Collaborate with admissions and marketing teams to develop recruitment materials and campaigns. • Track and report on recruitment metrics, including lead generation, conversion rates, and effectiveness of recruitment strategies. • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and changes in educational policies and regulations. • Provide support and guidance to prospective students throughout the enrollment process. • Represent our institution professionally and positively at all times. • Evaluate and process student applications. • Communicate with candidates via phone and email to clarify questions. • Prepare and send offers of admissions and invoices. • Data entry: maintain accurate data entry of all new students in excel. • Assist finance department with owing students, balance inquiries, commission payment calculation, refund and follow ups. • Maintain records and track payments for special partner programs. • Provide information on programs available, registration procedures, placement tests, tuition fees, and refund policies. • Keep track of placement tests. • Follow up with all incoming students and their agents a month prior to the beginning of each term. • Prepare weekly/monthly admission reports. • Liaise within the recruitment, finance and guidance departments on matters related to Students admission. • Cold calling to potential employers to ensure candidate placement. • Leverage industry connections to establish collaborative partnerships with businesses, organizations, and industry leaders to enhance educational programs Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in student advising, admissions, or administrative role is required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Gsuite and experience with CRM systems preferred. Knowledge of the private career college sector and understanding of regulatory requirements for student enrollment is an asset.
