Retro will be paid after the ratification.****Language of Work:**Anglais | English**Requirements and Nature of Work:****Responsibilities:*** Research assistantship position supporting two research projects on the following topics: (1) the identification and estimation of the effects of oil price shocks, and (2) the relationship between oil price shocks and inflation expectations.**Qualifications:*** Good working knowledge of time series econometric methods. Specifically, familiarity with: - VAR models, in particular SVARs identified using the IV approach (IV-SVARs or proxy-SVARs); - local projection methods. - Knowledge of Matlab is required.**Additional Information and/or Comments:**All University of Ottawa employees are required under provincial law to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
