The Bruyère Research Institute (BRI) partners with Bruyère Continuing Care (Bruyère), the University of Ottawa and other stakeholders to conduct relevant and practical health sciences research related to medical education and improving the quality of life for the aging population and people requiring continuing care.
**Function summary**
**Administrative (60%)**
- Manage CVs and other documents for researchers.
- Maintain tracking lists.
- Manage meetings (schedule, prepare agendas, prepare materials, take minutes, track actions, distribute documents, etc.).
- Manage events (book travel, coordinate logistics, set up AV, etc.).
- Manage documents and inventory.
- Provide support to other project staff/participants as directed by investigator or senior staff.
**Research & Knowledge Translation Coordination (40%)**
- Assist with grant submissions (upload documents, coordinate with partners, edit and format documents).
- Assist with manuscript and abstract submissions (proofread, format, and submit).
- Provide support for data collection and analysis.
- Develop communication tools (posters, presentations, infographics, project reports).
- Create and update content for various websites and recommend/implement changes and improvements.

Required Qualifications and Competencies:
- High attention to detail.
- Minimum 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare research or family medicine environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, including experience writing for different audiences and formats.
- Proficient in communication software (e.g., Zoom, Teams) and Microsoft Office, and design software (e.g., VISME, Adobe Illustrator).
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong team player.
- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and seek approvals when required.
- Ability to communicate in both official languages (verbal and written) is an asset.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least two years of relevant experience working in a research environment.
Additional Competencies
- Experience in grant and manuscript submissions.
- Experience developing communication tools.
- Experience with website content creation and management.

**Sommaire des fonctions**
Nous sommes actuellement à la recherche d’une personne expérimentée et très motivée pour assurer la coordination administrative de la recherche et qui soit prête à intégrer l’équipe de recherche DARE (Driving and Advancing Research Excellence). Dans le cadre de cette fonction, vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec la DreClare Liddy et Sathya Karunananthan, Ph. D., deux chercheuses de premier plan de l’IRB qui mènent des travaux de recherche dans le domaine de la prestation de soins de santé primaires.La DreLiddy est médecin de famille. Elle est aussi cofondatrice du service de consultation électronique BASEMCde Champl
