We are hiring a Senior Finance Manager, Operations Accounting & Costing. p>

As a key member of the Corporate Controller’s department, the Manager will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight for the Inventory and Costing team as well as the Retail Accounting team.

Job Duties -

  • Responsible for month end reporting routine, ensuring costs are reflected and accounted for properly as per accounting guidelines
  • Coach and develop direct reports, helping to prioritize key deliverables and provide opportunities for development
  • Guide implementation and compliance of our costing policies, processes and procedures, and provide recommendations for improvement and efficiency
  • Oversee and review the preparation financial and management reports for retail and estate locations
  • Lead annual standard cost update process
  • Manage interim and annual audit requirements with external auditors
  • Resource for ERP updates, including development of requirements, and prioritization and testing of enhancements
  • Special projects as required

This role has five direct reports.

Experience Required

  • Hold a CPA, CA designation
  • Experience preparing external financial statements and disclosures
  • Public company experience preferred
  • Experience with standard costing
  • Experience in manufacturing
  • Proven leadership skills in achieving results
  • Ability to work with a positive attitude and in a professional manner
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Possess a strong attention to detail
  • Possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
