Key Responsibilities Undertake planning and detailed roads design, including reporting and recommendations. Undertake review and/or verification of roads designs undertaken by others. Demonstrate a strong understanding of client needs and drivers. Proactively provide direction, mentoring and support to bid teams and project staff Supervise, mentor and develop team members. Review deliverables to ensure compliance with technical and quality assurance standards. Develop and maintain client relationships and industry knowledge and maximise business development opportunities. Prepare technically sound, well written and easily understood proposals and reports. Skills & Experience Required Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent). Familiarity with Australian Standards and industry guidelines for roads and civil infrastructure. Currently hold chartership to Engineers Australia. Ability to prepare and check design calculations (including self-checking) using either manual methods or with the aid of computer applications such as 12d, OpenRoads and the Microsoft Office suite. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to contribute to innovative solutions for complex challenges. Competence in delivering work according to budget, schedule and quality requirements. A collaborative mindset, with experience working in project teams within a consulting environment.
