The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D, and the ability to manage complex projects from planning through construction.Pay Rate: $75k-$100k / year.Location: Sudbury, ONResponsibilitiesPrepare engineering and construction drawings for diverse land development projectsDevelop detailed plans, profiles, and 3D models using Autodesk Civil 3DInterpret and apply municipal and provincial design standards and regulatory requirementsProduce technical reports and documentation for engineering and planning submissionsCreate and manage design spreadsheets and data presentations using Microsoft ExcelCollaborate with project teams to revise and finalize high-quality engineering drawingsMaintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholdersProvide on-site supervision and support during construction phases as neededKeep current with the latest CAD and Civil 3D software developments in coordination with senior staffAssist senior engineers in developing solutions for complex design challengesManage multiple concurrent projects independently and as part of a team, ensuring deadlines and budgets are metRequirementsLegal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.Bachelor's degree in Civil EngineeringRegistered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in good standing with Professional Engineers OntarioMinimum 5 years of civil design experience, focusing on land development projectsAdvanced skills in AutoCAD Civil 3DStrong knowledge of municipal engineering standards and regulatory approval processesExperience in project coordination and construction supervision considered an assetThorough understanding of provincial and federal regulations related to civil engineeringTechnical expertise in field data collection, instrumentation, monitoring, and sampling methodsExcellent problem-solving skills with ability to deliver cost-effective and practical solutionsEffective time management and ability to handle multiple projects with competing deadlinesComfortable working both in office and on construction sitesStrong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with clients, contractors, and colleaguesProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)Valid Ontario driver's license and reliable vehicleDon’t miss out on this Intermediate Civil Engineer position in Sudbury, ON.
