BAR is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our Energy Division. This role is key to project success, sourcing high‑quality materials and services cost‑effectively and on time. You will work closely with project teams and clients to understand requirements, negotiate contracts, and ensure procurement aligns with project schedules and specifications. You will maintain strong vendor relationships, optimize purchasing strategies, and contribute to overall project efficiency and quality. Remote work may be possible depending on experience. Key Responsibilities Source, evaluate, and purchase materials for engineering projects. Liaise with clients to support procurement expectations. Build and maintain vendor relationships, negotiating pricing, terms, and delivery. Prepare purchase orders compliant with company policies and client requirements. Track market trends and provide procurement recommendations. Collaborate with project teams to align procurement with schedules. Maintain accurate procurement records and reporting. Qualifications Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or Commerce. Minimum 5 years of progressive procurement or contract management experience, ideally in engineering or construction. Strong negotiation, time management, and prioritization skills. Experience mentoring others and working independently or collaboratively. Effective written and verbal communication. Hands‑on problem‑solving and eagerness to learn. Ability to anticipate procurement process needs. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
