The RoleShipping & Fulfillment Associates are responsible for ensuring that all products are checked for quality, counted for accuracy and moved to the Shipping Department for timely delivery. The pace of our operations and the nature of our orders make this a job that will be good for someone with attention to detail and the multitasking skills to work quickly without losing focus. You will be trained on both the fulfillment and shipping aspects of our operation and work shifts in one or both departments over the course of any given week. You will play an important role that impacts productivity and efficiency in the workplace, promoting open communication across teams on the production floor.
What you’ll be doing- Counting all products or barcode tags ensures the quantity count of each order.
- Performing quality control checks on all orders received, checking for print quality, artwork issues, and damages, and conducting sample peel tests.
- Pending Rack Management
- Check-in/log incomplete items in the Pending Spreadsheet.
- Audit and Manage Pending Rack Spreadsheet and Rack.
- Investigate missing, incorrect, and/or incomplete orders.
- Retrieving orders and securely moving them across production and into fulfillment.
- Assembling materials needed for preparing orders.
- Preparing orders for shipment, ensuring all orders are complete, on time, meet high standards of quality, and comply with shipping standards for varying sizes, quantities, and couriers.
- Documenting shipping and receiving transactions according to company practices.
- Using internal software and tools to answer inquiries, keep up to date, and notify the team on relevant matters.
- Communicating any issues, questions, or concerns clearly and promptly to supervisors/managers.
- High proficiency in G-Suite and Office - specifically: Google Sheets, Excel, Google Docs, Word, and Gmail.
- Strong mathematical and technical skills.
- Experience working with US customs/clearance.
- Familiarity with Canada Post / USPS / UPS / DHL / FedEx.
- High standards of quality and high attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of an 8 to 10-hour shift.
- Authorized to live and work in Canada.
