Avalon’s team of supply chain consultants has a long and successful track record of helping clients drive significant performance improvements in key areas of Supply Chain Execution.

RESPONSABILITIES

The profile we are looking for will act as a Human Resources Director and will provide support to Human Resource Generalist and the Management Team:

  • Write, post and promote job offers, campus activities and university partnerships on company networks.
  • Contribute to the recruitment process by participating in the search for candidates, interviews and follow-up of applications.
  • Coordinate the on boarding and training of new employees.
  • Follow-up with managers during the probationary period.
  • Evaluate the results of quarterly performance review with managers.
  • Participate in the evaluation of the salary scale and yearly bonuses.
  • Draft various documents and letters for employees (confirmation of employment, etc.).
  • Draft disciplinary notices.
  • Manage the employees’ benefits and participate in the contract renewal.
  • Keep employee files and HR dashboards up to date.
  • Ensure the continuous improvement of processes surrounding systems related to Human Resources and general administration.
  • Update company policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate and coordinate training needs with managers and supervise the sessions and seminars.
  • Record all training expenses to ensure our obligations to the Law pertaining to training.
  • Aid in maintaining the internal mentorship program.
  • Provide strategic advice and support to Management.
  • Create and implement HR processes and procedures.
  • Implement human resource strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, and rewards and recognition
  • Provide active leadership within the Human Resources Department, with a primary focus on coaching the team, optimizing their efforts, and effectively coordinating their deliverables.
  • Any other related tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree or Master degree in Human Resource Management.
  • 10 years’ experience in a similar position.
  • Experience in consulting or Service business in a HR role.
  • Excellent knowledge of Quebec Labour Laws
  • Sense of initiative and autonomy.
  • High level of professional ethics and confidentiality.
  • Good analytical and summarizing skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience working in a fast-growing organization.
  • Bilingualism required in French and English (spoken and written).
