What You Will Do
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to solicit business requirements and translate those needs into potential solution documentation
  • Review business requirement documentation for completion and obtain final sign-off
  • Collect data, oversee migration of policy data into systems and execute month-end processes
  • Ensure the test process, methodologies, and tools are applied appropriately
  • Develop and document test scenarios, test matrices, and execute system/integration testing
  • Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Post Acceptance Testing (PAT) after system implementation
  • Actively participate in the post-implementation support and review phase
  • Assist in updating system tables/files accurately when changes are requested including product configuration & admin setup
  • Assist in communicating to management, team leaders, and trainers on any new or changed functionality of a system
  • Provide technical support for clients via phone and email to accurately record a detailed description of known issues and work with cross-functional teams to address in a timely manner
Who You Are
  • Post-secondary education in Business or Information Technology
  • Bilingual (French and English), as he or she will be communicating with colleagues and customers in other provinces.
  • Advanced programming skills (Excel VBA, Python, SQL server)
  • CIP, CRM, CBAP, CAPM, PMP preferred but not required
  • Minimum 2 years’ proven experience in the Insurance or Finance industries preferred
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Business Analyst. Testing Analyst, or Business Consultant
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written communication, verbal communication, and presentation skills
  • Strong technical acumen and demonstrated experience in data gathering, data analysis, data backfilling, and the creation of conceptual and logical models
