Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Human Resources, this role provides the authority, autonomy, and responsibility to lead AgeCare’s HR strategies focused on recruitment, retention, employee satisfaction, and leadership development. As a key member of our senior management team, you will shape and implement HR policies, drive organizational excellence, and champion AgeCare’s commitment to being a leader in senior care.

What You Will Do

  1. Strategic Leadership & HR Operations
  2. Lead and collaborate with the HR team to foster a strong partnership with operations, ensuring seamless execution of organizational goals.
  3. Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with AgeCare’s goals to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
  4. Lead the creation, implementation, and communication of HR policies, ensuring legal and quality compliance.
  5. Guide senior management and HR teams on performance management, discipline, and employee relations.
  6. Oversee workforce planning and development, including talent acquisition strategies.
  7. Employee Engagement & Culture
  8. Drive employee engagement through surveys, feedback analysis, and action plans.
  9. Compliance & Risk Management
  10. Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and regional HR standards.
  11. Lead risk management efforts, including incident reporting, root cause analysis, and follow-up actions.
  12. Continuous Improvement & Innovation
  13. Provide regular and ongoing Total Quality Management (TQM) and outcomes reporting.
  14. Monitor HR metrics, benchmark performance, and implement best practices to strengthen AgeCare’s industry leadership.
  15. Service Level Agreement (SLA) Management
  16. Oversee SLAs with third-party vendors, ensuring that AgeCare’s outsourced HR functions receive timely, accurate, and high-quality support.

    What You Bring

    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
    • Minimum of 10 years of senior management experience in HR, with a proven track record in leadership, strategy development, and change management.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to drive HR initiatives and continuous improvement.
