This Sr Sales Manager is responsible for Rotating Equipment sales growth within Canada and Northern United States. The primary responsibilities are the identification & pursuit of strategic growth accounts and associated project opportunities. This is a customer-facing sales manager responsible for winning business and leading business development planning processes for this market.

As a Senior Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing targeted campaigns and selling products, services, parts, solutions, upgrades, or projects for rotating equipment.
  • Handling products and systems requiring thorough technical knowledge and knowledge of the environment where the products and systems will be used.
  • Managing complex sales processes requiring involvement of many stakeholders both at the client-side and internally including technical, economical, logistical, and financial aspects involved in creating a proposal.
  • Leading the collaboration with multidisciplinary teams internally (e.g., engineering, legal, risk, finance, communication, marketing, etc.) to develop and articulate the winning value proposition.
  • Coordinating cross-functional teams involving engineering, legal, commercial, risk, finance, and channel partners.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university and 5+ years of sales experience with servicing of rotating machines and equipment.
  • Be capable of presenting value propositions to customers at the executive/VP level.
  • Have a results-oriented mindset, with experience of successfully originating sales, working to targets, and growing business of large sales volume and accounts in the oil/gas/energy industry.
  • Demonstrate experience of working with cross-functional teams within a global-matrix environment.
  • Possess good interpersonal and leadership skills, an inclusive working style, and the ability to effectively interface with all levels of the internal organization and external customers.
  • Be available to travel for business at least 50% of the time throughout Canada and the United States.
