The Medical Director is a licensed and highly skilled medical professional responsible for overseeing clinical procedures, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing leadership to the clinical team. This role involves direct involvement in medical aesthetic treatments as well as ensuring the medical integrity of the spa's services. The Medical Director will collaborate with aesthetic injectors and other team members to ensure quality and safety in all client interactions and treatments.Clinical Oversight: Provide clinical supervision and oversight for all medical treatments including injectables (Botox, dermal fillers, PRP) ensuring adherence to medical protocols and best practices on injector days (2-3 days a week). Ensure compliance with all relevant medical and regulatory standards.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all medical services comply with local, provincial, and federal regulations, including proper record-keeping, informed consent procedures, and adherence to medical guidelines.Valid and active medical license (MD, DO, NP, ND) with certification in medical aesthetics preferred.In-depth knowledge of facial anatomy, dermatology, and the mechanisms of various injectable and aesthetic products.Strong knowledge of applicable medical laws and regulations in the cosmetic and aesthetics industry.
