OverviewOur client, Canadian-based advertising and media company specialized in place-based advertising, is seeking a dynamic and well-connected Senior Business Development Representative to lead growth initiatives across Calgary and Edmonton. This is a boots-on-the-ground role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, knows the hospitality scene inside and out, and is ready to drive adoption of innovative communication solutions across restaurants, cafés, bars, and similar establishments.ResponsibilitiesOwn and expand business development efforts in Calgary and Edmonton, with a focus on the hospitality sector.Build and nurture relationships with decision-makers at restaurants, cafés, bars, and other venues.Actively visit establishments to pitch and promote our suite of communication products.Identify new opportunities, negotiate deals, and close partnerships that drive long-term value.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction.Represent the brand with professionalism, energy, and a deep understanding of the local market.RequirementsProven experience in business development, sales, or account management—preferably in tech, communications, or hospitality.Existing, active relationships with restaurants, cafés, bars, and similar venues in Calgary and/or Edmonton.A strong local network and deep familiarity with the hospitality landscape.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and travel frequently within the region.Passion for technology and a knack for identifying how it can solve real-world business challenges #J-18808-Ljbffr
