Trans Mountain Corporation operates Canada’s only pipeline system transporting oil products to the West Coast. We deliver approximately 890,000 barrels of petroleum products each day through a dual pipeline system of more than 1,150 kilometres of pipeline in Alberta, British Columbia and Washington state.

Trans Mountain also operates a state-of-the-art loading facility, Westridge Marine Terminal, with three berths providing tidewater access to global markets.

With our expanded pipeline system now in place, Trans Mountain provides enhanced direct access for Canadian crude oil to world markets. The expansion realizes a world-class system for oil transport, developed to Canada’s high standards within one of the most stringent regulatory regimes in the world, creating long-term economic benefits, enhanced marine protection, enhanced safety and emergency management capabilities, and enhanced skilled-worker capacity building in communities and Indigenous groups.

Broker relationship between the business and HR to evaluate and secure specialized resources and services, which include vendors for training, compliance, or recruitment. Identify and elevate HR matters that may pose risk to people or the Company.Understand business strategy, operational plans, financials, history and culture to inform, influence, engage and operationalize HR programs and solutions.Partner with the business to support the development of engaged high-performing teams. Build and cultivate positive, trust-based working relationships across the business and colleagues.

Qualifications and Professional Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 8-10 years’ experience in Human Resources.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment laws.
  • Knowledge, interpretation, and application of all applicable Human Resource legislation, policies, processes, and practices. li>
  • Strong analytical and interpretive skills to recognize and comprehend complex issues, policies, regulatory and legislative requirements, and information affecting the client’s environment.
  • Proven relationship management, consulting, and teamwork expertise.
  • Proven ability to use metrics and data to support strategic analysis and decision making.
  • Strong project management skills and execution skills to ensure successful delivery/implementation of HR projects, processes, and policies.
  • Highly functional in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PeopleSoft, or HRIS.
