Territory Sales Manager – Eastern Canada (Consumer Goods)
Our client, a leading Consumer Goods Company, is looking to hire a Territory Sales Manager – Eastern Canada to join their team on a Permanent, Full-Time basis.
Reporting to the Field Sales Manager, with a Remote Home-office, this role will be responsible for sales, growth, account penetration, and servicing and building relationships with large independents across Eastern Canada (QC, NB, NS, PEI & NFLD).The ideal candidate for this role will ideally be based in Montreal to optimize account coverage through day travel.Conduct dealer presentations and execute marketing programs.Report to the Field Sales Manager on customer needs, problems, interests, market intelligence, and potential new customer development opportunities utilizing regular weekly call reports, conference calls, and CRM input.Execute annual business plans for the territory in collaboration with the Field Sales Manager.Provide product training for all products ensuring that all customers are equipped with up-to-date product knowledge, customer programs, service agreements, and any other support information.Work various trade shows throughout the year representing the Company and supporting assigned customers.Ensure that all customers are in compliance with company retail standards and policies (minimum advertised price, transshipping, foreign shipments, etc.).Adhere to company policy regarding daily use of the CRM tool for field time management and activity reporting.Postsecondary degree or diploma from an accredited college or university is an asset.3-5+ years of related sales experience.Experience working in retail consumer products, premium brands is an asset.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.Able to drive long distances in excess of 100 kms several times a month.Experience in the hardware class of trade is an asset.Strong interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills.-
