Summary of the Role

RVA is seeking an Associate Vice President to manage a diverse IT team by overseeing, recruiting, and training employees with a goal to provide excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.

RVA has a complex software environment with many specialized engineering tools. The AVP must stay on top of client needs and negotiate cost effective plans to provide needed software while ensuring maximum return on investments. p>

The IT budget is one of the largest overhead costs in the Company. The AVP is expected to work directly with Senior Management to keep them advised of budget status.

Cyber Security is an existential threat to the Company. The AVP must stay on top of the changing security environment, report monthly to Senior Management on the status of cyber defenses including ongoing training and prepare a NIST framework screening annually.

Information Technology is changing at a rapid pace and the AVP must be up to date on all aspects, including AI and how it will impact all parts of Operations. The AVP will be expected to provide input to Senior Management for strategic planning and to identify new technologies and opportunities to improve systems and processes.
