Who we are:
At Reitmans (Canada) Limited (RCL), every moment of every day revolves around our customers and our love of fashion. We believe fashion empowers our customers to put their best foot forward when it matters the most. From the design table to the stores and our digital channels, we are always finding new ways to create memorable customer experiences, backed by a strong brand portfolio and powered by the most passionate people in the industry.
Job DescriptionJoin our team as a Product Director to guide the creation and refinement of digital platforms that enhance customer experiences across all touchpoints for our three brands. In this hands-on role, you’ll focus on prioritizing and executing user stories, building and managing a robust product roadmap, and collaborating with teams across the organization—not just e-commerce—to deliver seamless online and in-store experiences.
As the Product Director, you’ll translate each brand's objectives into actionable product initiatives, ensuring our digital tools and platforms meet evolving customer needs. You’ll work with brand, marketing, IT, customer care, and operations teams to understand and solve pain points, translating them into engaging, intuitive user journeys.
User Story Development and Roadmap Ownership:
- Define, document, and prioritize user stories based on customer feedback, data insights, and business goals.
- Own the digital experience roadmap, ensuring that product initiatives align with brand objectives and customer needs.
- Continuously iterate on the roadmap based on user feedback, testing outcomes, and business priorities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with brand, marketing, IT, customer care, and in-store teams to align digital initiatives with business objectives and ensure a consistent experience across all channels.
Execution and Platform Optimization:
- Oversee the product lifecycle from ideation through deployment, focusing on user experience enhancements that drive engagement, traffic, and conversion.
- Implement A/B testing and other data-driven methods to refine user journeys and improve key metrics, such as site performance, conversion, and retention.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
- Drive a culture of innovation within the team, encouraging agile practices and data-informed decision-making.
- Keep a pulse on industry trends and new technologies, proposing and implementing initiatives that deliver immediate and long-term customer value.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
- Coordinate with external vendors to ensure platform performance aligns with product goals.
- Regularly communicate updates, project results, and ROI to senior stakeholders.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Mentor a team of product managers and specialists, promoting a customer-centric approach to digital product development.
Performance Metrics and KPIs:
- Establish and track KPIs to assess customer satisfaction, digital engagement, and conversion rates across platforms.
Qualifications and Competencies Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
- 10+ years of product management experience, with a focus on digital platforms, ideally in a retail environment.
- Experience with modern e-commerce platforms and related digital tools is essential.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with a data-driven and customer-first approach to problem-solving.
What We Offer (Why Work With Us):
- Hybrid work opportunity
- A competitive benefits package (Full Time Employees Only)
- Paid Time Off (Sick Time, Flex Days & Vacation) (Full Time Employees Only)
- Additional benefits include opportunities for advancement and tuition reimbursement
- 50% discount at all Reitmans (Canada) Limited brands (Penningtons, Reitmans & RW&CO.)
- Generous Employee Referral Policy.
