ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Senior Program Manager is a member of the HSO Products and Strategic Offerings team, reporting to the Director, Cultural Safety and Humility. strong>

  • Leading the design, co-production, and release of people-centered, evidence-based, high-quality standards.
  • Accountable for compliance of standards with the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) and International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua) requirements.
  • Planning, documenting and managing defined project requirements and scope, delivered on time and on budget.
  • Developing and maintaining strong partnerships with First Nations, Inuit, and Métis governing bodies, communities, and organizations.
  • Providing expertise and advice on anti-oppression, anti-racism, cultural safety and humility, and health equity.
  • Effective collaboration internally and externally with national subject matter experts, policy leaders, and healthcare providers.

Must Have Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a related field, such as Health Sciences, Health Policy or Business Administration.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the health and social services landscape as it pertains to Indigenous health, anti-racism and cultural safety.
  • Experience working in a First Nations, Inuit, or Métis community organization.
  • Project management certification.
  • Quality and patient safety certification.
  • Certification and experience in public participation and Indigenous community engagement.
  • Set your performance and learning objectives for the year.
  • Take on assigned initiatives or projects for your role.
  • Time off programs, including office shutdown during the last week of December.
  • A culture that values psychological safety, inclusion and engagement.
