Full-Time Support

The incumbent provides operational and administrative student-centered support to internal and external, domestic and international, full and part-time students within AC Online. Responsibilities include direct support to AC Online students through program/course communications, conflict resolution, record keeping, and Academic Manager support. Departmental and external stakeholder support includes client service-oriented duties. The Program Support Officer acts as a liaison between Program Support Specialist, Student Advisors, Placement Officers, the Registrar’s Office, Resource Coordinator, Front Line Client Support, facilitators, and Academic Managers. The incumbent supports the success of students by responding to and actioning inquiries related to delivery within a specified portfolio of courses and programs.Minimum two (2) year diploma or equivalent in Office Administration, Client Service, or Business Administration related to the programs of study served by the AC Online Campus;Knowledge of Student Information Systems (SIS) and Customer Relations Management (CRM) software would be an asset;Experience in applying and interpreting policies and procedures is an asset;Note and minute taking during meetings is considered an asset.

This position is subject to the terms of the Full-Time Support Staff Collective Agreement.This position is eligible for remote work with on-site requirements of approximately three (3) to four (4) times a year in conjunction with the College's Flexible Work Arrangement Policy (subject to change).Algonquin College values diversity and is an equal opportunity employer.
