In 1983, the first Ronald McDonald House in BC opened its doors in Vancouver with a 13‑bedroom House, and over the years, with an increase in demand for this essential service, construction of a new building was underway. In 2014, a 73‑bedroom House was unveiled on the grounds of BC Children’s Hospital along with a new 2,000 sq. ft. RMH Family Room in Surrey Memorial Hospital. As the second‑largest House in Canada and one of the largest in the world, RMH BC will continue to grow and meet the needs of families across BC and Yukon. Our team is the backbone of our organization—serving our families, supporting volunteers and donors, and spreading awareness every single day. About the Position The Digital Platforms & Campaigns Specialistplays a key role in strengthening Ronald McDonald House BC & Yukon’sdigital and campaign capacity. This role blends technical execution withcollaboration, overseeing websites and fundraising microsites, email campaigns,paid digital, and analytics to ensure our tools and campaigns are optimized,insightful, and impactful. By supporting fundraising and marketing initiativesacross platforms, the Specialist helps connect more donors and communities tothe mission of keeping families close. Key Responsibilities: Digital Platforms & Campaign Execution Build and maintain Ronald McDonald House website and fundraising microsites (Raisely, Givergy, Fundraise Up, etc.). Manage email marketing, including segmentation, deployment, and CASL compliance. Support annual, capital, peer‑to‑peer, and event campaigns through digital deliverables across email, web, and social channels. Develop and manage paid social media campaigns when executed in‑house, and collaborate with agencies on digital advertising. Analytics & Reporting Leadanalytics and reporting across email, social, website, fundraising platforms,and paid media. Createdashboards and reports (GA4, Looker Studio, etc.) with actionable insights forthe team and leadership. Monitorand optimize campaign performance using data‑driven recommendations. Media Campaign Support Coordinate with media partners and agencies to deliver assets, monitor placements, and track results. Support community‑facing advertising campaigns and sponsorship activations to maximize visibility. Collaboration & Team Support Serveas liaison with digital and media agencies, ensuring deadlines and deliverablesare met. Workwith the Marketing Manager to integrate family stories and donor content intodigital campaigns. Support events and community fundraising teamsby building and managing event‑related digital platforms. JobSpecific Competencies and Skills Collaborative and mission‑driven: You work effectively across teams and with external partners, valuing different perspectives and putting the missionfirst. Proactive and results‑oriented: You take initiative, manage multiple priorities, and drive campaigns to completion. Strong communicator: You build clear, respectful relationships with agencies, vendors, and colleagues, and adapt your style to different audiences. Detail‑oriented and organized: You balance technical execution withaccuracy and reliability under tight timelines. Analytical and curious: You translatedata into insights, ask the right questions, and recommend improvements forfuture campaigns. Technically agile: You are comfortablelearning and adapting to evolving digital platforms and fundraising tools. Experienceand Educational Requirements 3–5 years of experience in digital marketing, campaign execution, or related roles. Experience with paid social campaign development and analytics. Hands‑on experience with websites and fundraising platforms (WordPress, Raisely, Givergy, Fundraise Up preferred). Proficiency with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor, or equivalent). Knowledge of Google Analytics (GA4), Google Ads Grant, and reporting tools (Looker Studio, etc.). Familiarity with design and social media management tools (e.g., Canva, Sprout Social). Understanding of CASL and digital consent best practices. Post‑secondary education in marketing, communications, or related field, or equivalent professional experience. Nonprofit fundraising or campaign experience considered an asset.
