We are a vertically integrated manufacturer and our products are made at facilities located in Quebec, Ontario, and Saskatchewan.

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will report to the Sales Director, Canada and work closely with the rest of the sales team.

GETTING TO KNOW THE POSITION

You will be responsible for the execution of sales plans and strategies that ensure maximum annual sales and profitability for the Central Canada accounts.

HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Assist in the development of the annual business plans for assigned accounts and the delivery of annual sales and volume targets.
  • Play a key role in the execution of the overall account approach and selling strategies to maintain critical business relationships with existing accounts and create new business opportunities.
  • Support the development of analyses, research, and reports of competitors, customers, and markets to evaluate Nexans' competitiveness and determine where opportunities exist within markets.
  • Analyze business performance and deliver recommendations to drive sales growth using keen knowledge of the market and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with product development and production teams to develop appropriate products and specifications to meet or exceed sales targets and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales service, plants, and engineering for effective and efficient teamwork.
  • Develop contractor relationships that aid in the development of new products/services and evaluation of competitors' positions with their innovations for replication.
    • Bachelor's degree in commerce or engineering.
    • 5 – 8 years of sales experience in manufacturing (cable industry experience is an asset).
    • Substantial understanding of the sales and marketing process and how it relates to the overall objectives of the company.
    • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Relationship-building capabilities to open doors, develop opportunities, and close deals.
