Job Description Reporting to the Executive Vice President, the Key Account Manager – House Accounts is responsible for the dedicated maintenance and overall sales performance of key house accounts at ALMAG. Working collaboratively with Inside Sales and Customer Service they will ensure the continuous and dedicated maintenance of a group of key customers. This position will work closely with all members of the Sales Team concerning day‑to‑day sales matters and the Production Team concerning order fulfilment. Key Responsibilities Proactively manage the relationships with our customers, resulting in superb customer retention, satisfaction and maintained sales Update the CRM with information gathered from clients on a daily basis Coordinate sales and service activities with Inside Sales Representatives and Customer Service Representatives Practice the consultative and value‑added selling technique of "solution selling" Suggest extrusion design changes to improve extrudability, function, assembly and price Report on quality requirements, market trends and competitive information Actively participate in the goal setting and sales planning process with the Vice President of Sales; assist in establishing budgets, forecasts and sales quotas Actively participate with the EVP in setting pricing policies and decisions Ensure compliance with all quality‑related policies, procedures, and system requirements Education and Experience Post‑secondary education with mathematical, business, quality, and technical training preferred 5+ years of experience in sales in an industrial environment Technical Skills & Competence Understanding of computers, measurements, tolerances, basic geometry, and the ability to read blueprints Excellent telephone presence and manners, as well as strong public speaking and presentation skills Late model 4‑door automobile and a valid driver's license High energy level, positive attitude, and ability to work without direct supervision Empathy and confidence to succeed in this position Good time management and organizational skills Strong team player and works well with others Benefits Profit sharing Health care spending account Education assistance program Health and dental coverage Life AD&D Gym memberships #J-18808-Ljbffr
