Description of the Position:
At SickKids Foundation, we believe that data is more than numbers—it's the key to transforming lives. We’re searching for an innovative leader to shape the future of our Business Intelligence and Analytics team. In this newly created role, Vice President of Business Intelligence and Analytics (BIA), you will report directly to the Chief Information Office (CIO) and lead a talented team of analysts and data scientists dedicated to advancing data-driven decision-making across the organization. Your leadership will empower teams, including Donor-facing and Fundraising teams, Marketing, and Donor Experience, by providing the analytics, reporting, and strategic intelligence needed to maximize impact.

You will:

  • Strategic Leadership
  • An active member of the senior leadership team and trusted partner to the CEO and fellow executives, playing a vital role in:
    • Driving forward our mission, vision, and values with purpose and passion.
    • Shaping both immediate and future goals that will define our success.
    • Design and implement leading-edge business intelligence and analytics platforms and services to drive business performance and growth.
    • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and leadership development within your team.

    Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics Technology Management

    • Lead the development of analytical dashboards for business units.
    • Develop collaborative relationships with internal teams and external partners, providing tailored analytics and insights to optimize donor engagement and empower business units to achieve their KPI’s and maximize impact.
    • Enhance and oversee our advanced BI and Analytics platforms, from Snowflake to Power BI, Datawarehouse, Google Analytics, SAS and niche AI/ML solutions.
    • Lead the design and implementation of cloud-based analytics architectures to streamline and support data driven decision-making.
    • Ensure business units have the strategic insights to facilitate meaningful connections with donors, fostering trust and loyalty.
    • Develop, lead, attract, inspire, manage a diverse, talented, and high-performing team to ensure that the mission and core values of SickKids Foundation are put into practice by holding everyone accountable for supporting our strategic goals.
    • Commitment to both personal and team professional development.
      Support the teams’ efforts to achieve key performance indicators by providing strategic support, problem-solving, and the resources needed to succeed.

    Qualifications:

    • 10-15 years of experience in computer science or data science related roles, including 5 years or more in senior leadership positions.
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as statistics, mathematics, computer science, or business analytics.
