In this newly created strategic role, the Vice President of Information Management and Technology (IMT) will lead a team that shapes the future of digital innovation and technology and drive SickKids Foundation’s digital transformation. The portfolio oversees digital services, enterprise platforms, data management, software development, infrastructure, and cybersecurity. li>An active member of the senior leadership team and trusted partner to the CEO and fellow executives, playing a vital role in:

Shaping both immediate and future goals that will define our success.Design and implement a secure, integrated ecosystem of digital services, data management, IT, and cloud infrastructure to power our next major fundraising campaign and beyond.Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and leadership development within your team.Business Partnership & Innovation Lead the design and deployment of digital services that drive revenue growth, elevate donor experiences, and enhance operational efficiency.Partner with key departments to strategize and align digital initiatives with the unique objectives of our Fundraising, Marketing, and Operations teams.Drive innovation by envisioning and recommending next-generation solutions, including advanced data management strategies, cutting-edge business applications, and emerging technologies.Lead the establishment of a robust Data Governance framework. Work closely with stakeholders to ensure secure, compliant, and impactful data use, supported by best practices in systems and processes.Champion agile methodologies, fostering a culture of lean, iterative development to enhance lead times and quality across the organization.Enterprise Applications, Digital Services & Infrastructure Management Oversee the Foundation’s Enterprise Applications including Constituent Relationship Management (Blackbaud CRM), Marketing Automation (Salesforce), Content Management System (Sitecore), Peer-to-Peer Fundraising & Event Management systems, e-Commerce (Shopify), Payment Processing (Stripe & Blackbaud) and Backoffice Operations.Oversee IT infrastructure, from cloud engineering (Microsoft Azure) and networking to workplace technology (Microsoft 365) and helpdesk support, ensuring reliable and innovative service delivery.Direct the IT Project Management Office (PMO) to align projects and investments with strategic business goals.Manage the Foundation’s cybersecurity strategy, implementing advanced policies and technical safeguards to protect data and minimize risks.Develop, lead, attract, inspire, manage a diverse, talented, and high-performing team to ensure that the mission and core values of SickKids Foundation are put into practice by holding everyone accountable for supporting our goal of providing the Ultimate Donor Experience.Support the teams’ efforts to achieve key performance indicators by providing strategic support, problem-solving, and the resources needed to succeed.10-15 years of experience in computer science or information technology related roles, including 5 years or more in senior leadership positions.Proven track record in building and managing strong data and technology teams.Experience in developing and implementing comprehensive strategies for digital services, applications, data management, software development, infrastructure, and security.Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, or mathematics, is required.Master’s degree, such as MBA in information technology or business management, would be considered an asset.Experience in program and project management processes (Metrics/KPIs) and methodologies, including Agile.Strong leadership, business relationship management, and team management skills.Experience in leading technology renewal and sustainable digital business transformations, including all aspects – people, process, and technology.Proficiency in leading application teams, full stack software development, enterprise architecture and infrastructure.If you are a passionate and results-driven IT professional with a vision for creating lasting impact, we invite you to join us on this transformative journey as our new Vice President of Information Management and Technology.
