Regional Sales Engineer, Canada AlgoSec, a leader in hybrid, multi‑cloud cybersecurity, is seeking a proven sales engineer to scale revenue and expand our go‑to‑market reach globally. Responsibilities Meet or exceed quarterly and yearly product and service sales goals. Effectively present AlgoSec products and articulate their value as it relates to the customer’s business direction. Communicate at all levels, from executive C‑level to networking operations personnel. Develop and maintain a trusted advisory relationship with the customer’s security, operations and design teams during presales engagement, post‑sales and professional services engagements. Create and deliver compelling demonstrations highlighting the competitive differences and business value. Educate customers and partners on the AlgoSec platform and business flow. Identify and qualify new opportunities and support technical presales activities from initial opportunity identification to closure. Maintain post‑sales relationships with customers and drive expansion of the AlgoSec product install base within existing accounts. Train partners and resellers on proper positioning and technical sales of AlgoSec products. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Sales, Product Management, Professional Services, Support) to ensure customer success. Create and execute proof‑of‑concept test plans with prospects. Hands‑on experience with APIs, automation frameworks or DevOps tools. Continuously improve technical knowledge and differentiate from competitive technologies. Identify and close deals with corporate customers through face‑to‑face meetings. Up to 50% travel is expected. Requirements BS, EE/CS degree, technical school certificate or equivalent. 5–7 years of pre‑sales engineering, customer‑facing experience. Ability to work in a team sales environment and participate in sales strategies. Highly developed interpersonal and presentation skills. A high sense of urgency and deep interest in serving the customer. Enterprise account and channel partner sales experience is required. Working engineering knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP, VPCs, NSGs and cloud securities. Working engineering knowledge of Palo Alto, Fortinet, CheckPoint, Cisco, Juniper, F5 routing and security technologies. Working knowledge of security architecture fundamentals, authentication/authorization, network security standards and compliance standards. Experience working in a security SaaS solution organization is an advantage.
