This is a remote position open to candidates residing in Eastern Canada. Travel up to 50% may be required. Base pay range CA$478,500.00/yr - CA$478,500.00/yr In this role Samsara is seeking a talented and driven Sales Director to manage and develop one of our Select Enterprise Sales teams. You should be an energetic evangelist passionate about introducing a transformative new technology into the market. You should have a history of over-achievement and be comfortable managing teams that sell into all levels of an enterprise organization in both technology and lines of business. Responsibilities Implement effective coaching and development of Account Executives Collaborate with executive team to develop performance metrics Coordinate the involvement of Field Sales Engineers and support teams so that performance objectives and customers’ expectations are consistently met Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices Hire, develop and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high performing team Minimum requirements Previous experience supervising a sales team in Eastern Canada in a management capacity Proven track record of ability to train, spearhead and motivate enterprise sales teams Solid understanding of SFDC and accurate forecasting methodology 8+ years of technology sales experience 5+ years of experience managing a team/sales supervision and/or high overachievement as an individual contributor in Enterprise SAAS sales An ideal candidate also has Passion in helping Account Executives close large, complex deals Compensation and benefits Annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for full-time employees for this position is CA$478,500 CAD.
