Shackleton Duke Ltd along with our client, a leading M&E Contractor with numerous offices and projects throughout Canada, are currently looking for a M&E Project Manager to join their team in Vancouver, BC.The position is required due to growth and imminent project wins in the arena. The M&E Project Manager will need ICI and P project build experience.Responsible for: Pre-Construction, engineering, and field installation of all M&E systems for the business unit or region.M&E Project Manager Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Leading, supervising, and developing all M&E staff, as well as overseeing the management of subcontractors on site whilst managing ICI projects from start to finish.Acting as the primary liaison and developing and maintaining relationships with engineers, design consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and owner’s representatives.Managing the overall M&E pre-construction and procurement, budget, quality, safety, engineering, coordination, scheduling, installation, commissioning, and close-out processes.Bachelor’s degree and minimum years’ experience with progressively more responsible exposure to design, cost, sequence, logistics, and field installations of M&E systems or equivalent combination of training and experience. p>Demonstrated ability to present technical material. Strong computer skills and familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite of programs.Physical Demands: Performance of the required duties will require physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs, passenger use of construction personnel hoists, ability to climb ladders and negotiate work areas under construction. Performing this job requires the use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, sit, talk and hear, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
