We are currently looking for a full time Account Manager to join our Ready Mix Sales team
Reporting to the General Manager of Forest’s Ready Mix Division, The Ready Mix Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with key accounts, driving sales growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of the ready mix concrete industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams to meet customer needs.
Additional responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including contractors, developers, engineers, and construction companies.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts, as well as new market segments, to drive sales growth and meet revenue targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, operations, and logistics, to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of concrete products and services to customers.
- Conduct regular site visits and meetings with customers to understand their project requirements, provide technical expertise, and offer solutions that meet their needs.
- Prepare and present proposals, bids, and contracts to customers, negotiating terms and pricing as needed to secure new business and renewals.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product and service improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and project specifications using CRM software or other tools.
- Represent The Forest Group at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote our brand and expand our presence in the market.
Qualified candidates will possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or account management in the ready mix concrete industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong relationships with customers.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong technical knowledge of ready mix concrete products and applications.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
