Responsibilities involve all aspects of the hospital including, but not limited to: anesthetic monitoring, dental prophylaxis, nursing care, laboratory work, and client communication.NVA Canada’s VT Practicum Program offers final-year veterinary technician students the chance to gain real-world experience in a supportive, dynamic environment. Work alongside experienced veterinarians and RVTs to develop your clinical skills in patient care, laboratory procedures, anesthesia, surgical assistance, radiology, and more. Enhance your communication abilities with medical teams and clients, preparing you for a successful career as an RVT. Practicums range from two to eight weeks, fitting your schedule and career goals.
