**Job Summary**
Waterfront Park Vet Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate ( Registered ) Veterinary Technician to join our team.

Clinic is 5 year old, fast growing clinic located near Quay in North Vancouver.

**Duties**
- Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.

We're moderate to high volume clinic with multiple procedure. Training will be offered for new graduates if needed.
- Perform laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis.

We're fully equiped clinic including in house lab, x-rays and ultrasound.
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals in the clinic.

Our TAs are highly skilled to work as a team.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient.
- Prepare animals for surgery, including anesthesia administration and monitoring.
- Educate pet owners on proper care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the clinic and equipment.

**Requirements**:

- Completion of an accredited veterinary technician program.
- Certification or licensure as a veterinary technician (where applicable).
- Experience in a veterinary setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong laboratory skills, with the ability to perform diagnostic tests accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week

**Experience**:

- veterinary technician: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Registered Veterinary Technician (required)
