**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures
- Perform laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis
- Administer medications as directed by the veterinarian
- Monitor animal patients before, during, and after procedures
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and health maintenance
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including sterilization of instruments
- Provide compassionate care to animals in distress

**Skills**
- Proficient in laboratory techniques and procedures
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal behavior
- Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners
- Must have completed Veterinary Technician program
- Completed and passed VTNE exam or plans to complete
- Must have valid work permit
