**Registered Veterinary Technician Requirements**:

- Completion of a certified Veterinary Technician program.
- Proven work experience with a minimum of 1 year in a Veterinary Clinic
- Ability to demonstrate strong initiative, work ethic, and integrity.Knowledge of veterinary issues and terminology.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, set work priorities, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

**Your Duties**:

- Ensure proper preparation for scheduled procedures and surgeries. This includes cost estimates, Pre-visit pharmaceutical, and Pre-Surgical instructions.
- Perform sedation and anesthesia on patients (including taking vital signs, giving injections, inserting intravenous (IV) catheter, intubating, and monitoring during and post anesthesia).
- Note changes on patients’ file.
- Take x-rays, collect samples and perform other laboratory tests to assist in diagnosis of animal health problems.
- Assist veterinarian with patients before, during and following surgery
- Dentisty
- Discharge hospitalized/surgical patients.
- Provide technical services such as vaccinations, blood collection, nail trimming, anal gland expression, wound and bandage care and record on patient file.
- Provide emergency patient care (admitting, estimating costs, communicating with clients, diagnostic procedures and treatment, home care instruction, discharging patient and completing medical records).
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

**Salary**: $24.00-$30.00 per hour

**Experience**:
