At the centre of our Vision is a person, patient, client. Each person will be surrounded by a single, person‑centric

North West Ontario Health Record (NWOHR), where clinicians work seamlessly regardless of where they work and

supported by system‑wide advanced analytics and innovation. The NWOHR Program will transform and enable

health care across the region and stakeholders residing from the Manitoba border in the west to Manitouwadge in the

east.

This is a once in a career opportunity to be part of a transformation impacting all health system staff and clinicians in

the region. The Program requires people who are energetic, independent and thrive in a complex, fast‑paced

environment requiring ongoing prioritization of multiple demands.

The Change Lead is a management position responsible for developing and delivering a change management

program across all the partners, collaboratively. Our key to success will be working with front line staff and clinicians

through our change program. The Lead will manage a team of Change Specialists from across the region to ensure

successful involvement of people (mainly clinical) and adoption of new ways of working. The role reports to the

Regional Director of Nursing Informatics and works closely with the Regional Chief Medical Information Officer.

Ensuring the delivery of tasks for the NWOHR Program is managed by the Program Director. Thunder Bay Regional

Health Sciences Centre is the host organization for the Program, working on behalf of partners in the North West.

The role may be remote working and will involve travel.

This position is open to secondments from staff currently employed by a North West Ontario hospital.

Education/Experience:

* Degree in a Health Care Discipline, or a related degree and experience working in health care.

* Change Management Certification required

* 5+ years of experience and achievements at a progressively senior level

* Supervising others and leading a team

* Change management or quality improvement experience, preference for experience with large and complex

projects from planning to implementation

Skills:

* Proven ability to build and manage relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders with strong conflict resolution

skills.

* Highly developed inter-personal skills, able to negotiate with and influence leadership, clinicians, technology

experts, and vendors.

* Proven ability to remain calm under pressure, motivate others, and provide leadership to a team.

* Proven ability to organize and facilitate meetings, and lead complex discussions.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including preparing reports and briefing notes.

* Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure in a rapidly-changing environment.

* Demonstrated critical thinking and decision making skills in challenging situations.

* Strong human resource, leadership and financial management skills.

* Excellent computer skills including Internet, word processing, PowerPoint, email, etc.

Knowledge:

* Understanding and knowledge of digital tools' change or implementation.

Assets:

* Experience with Meditech

Employment Requirements:

* Hours may vary to support Program (occasional evening and weekend work may be required)

* Flexible working arrangements available including hybrid/remote option

* Must be available for on‑site meetings in Thunder Bay as required

* Travel on occasional basis as required

Salary Range: $50.081 to 58.919
