Change Management Lead

We are looking for a Lead Change Manager for a 6 months contract with high possibility of extension. Role is hybrid with 3 days a week on site in Markham.

This position will be responsible for managing the change required to assist highly-skilled medical professionals adapt to a new online order entry and workflow. Working with the project and medical teams, this would include strategies and plans for communication, orientation, training and change adaption.

Responsibilities:
  1. Design, develop, implement and manage change deliverables that will enable impacted users to successfully transition from the current state to the future state of the advanced clinical system implementation.
  2. Support impacted staff and leaders in their change efforts to maximize change adoption.
  3. Develop change management plans including communications, training, engagement and change reinforcement.
  4. Coach sponsors and leaders on effective sponsorship and change leadership.
  5. Assess and monitor change adoption and behavior shifts.
  6. Ensure plans are in place for the orientation and training of end-users.
  7. Collaborate to develop go-live plan for user support.
  8. Ensure patient safety and end-user impact are considered when implementing workflow and process changes.
  9. Provide progress reporting to the project manager, sponsoring committee and others as appropriate.
  10. Prepare reports and presentations as required for leadership, and committees.
  11. Continuously scan the environment for ideas, best practices and emerging trends linked to managing change.
Minimum Requirements:

MUST HAVE:

  1. STRONG change impact assessment experience.
  2. Understands how to work with non-technical stakeholders, preferably healthcare professionals.
  3. Experienced with large-scale organization change efforts, organizational change with the implementation of new systems.
  4. PROSCI certification.
Soft Skills:
  1. Superior communications and people skills, negotiation skills.
  2. Experience working with executives, stakeholders, project sponsors.
  3. Ability to be productive in a rapid and high-paced environment of multiple teams with competing deadlines.
  4. Ability to work both as a team member and independently in a professional manner is essential.
