We are looking for a Team Lead, Corporate Services - ESC to help grow our business and contribute to our future.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Team Lead, Corporate Services will provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise to the Corporate Services team, while performing duties related to Corporate Services on behalf of ESC’s customers. This role will work closely with Operations leadership to ensure a high level of customer service and satisfaction of the clientele as well as participate in the management of the operations of the Corporate Services department.

Key Responsibilities:Team Supervision
  1. Provide day to day support and supervision of the team including scheduling, monitoring performance, managing the queue and ensuring customer service levels are met, in collaboration with Operations leadership.
  2. Supervise team members including managing and assigning work flows, scheduling breaks, vacation and participating in or performing annual performance reviews.
  3. Provide training to new employees as well as identifying and delivering additional training to grow current employee skillset.
  4. Lead, coach and support team members to ensure high quality work and customer service as well as successful change outcomes.
  5. Writing of reference documents to be used as work tools by the team.
Operations
  1. Participating/Leading/Facilitating of the implementation new strategies to improve the productivity of the operations.
  2. Working with the IT support to make sure that the tools used are appropriate and optimal.
  3. Management of special or more complex files.
  4. Gather, document and share (where appropriate) comments from client, implement improvements to operational processes and follow-up with client.
  5. Answering phone calls from clients: answering questions, providing needed information, explaining the different services offered and related fees.
  6. Provide support to clients on our online system.
  7. Completing requests and orders from clients.
  8. Taking care of requests from our clients involving a good knowledge of the various authorities’ requirements.
  9. Answering to specific questions asked by clients and by employees involving a good knowledge of the various authorities’ requirements.
Position Requirements:
  1. Collegial diploma in Paralegal Technology or Certificate in Law plus 5+ years’ experience as a paralegal in corporate services/due diligence.
  2. Bilingual (French & English, written and spoken).
  3. Having a good knowledge of the various data bases on the Internet used to perform the searches and to obtain the required documents.
  4. Having a good knowledge of the rules/requirements/turnaround time of provincial and federal governments as well as nationwide and foreign authorities.
  5. Having a general knowledge of services offered by other departments and providing support when needed.
  6. Human resources skills.
  7. Teamwork skills.
  8. Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
  9. Autonomous, well organized, reliable, thoroughness.
