Director, Corporate Asset Management

The Director, Corporate Asset Management will play a key role in fostering a cash-driven culture at McKesson's Corporate. This individual will provide strategic guidance to stakeholders to ensure cash flow targets are met and forecast accuracy is respected. The portfolio is approximately $300m of operating cash flow and between $100m-$150m of capital expenditures per year.

As part of the Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis and Mergers & Acquisitions team, the Director will lead cash flow strategies, maximize working capital across all business units, and challenge capital appropriation requests to ensure proper return on investment, costs are properly estimated, and savings are captured.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with senior leaders and stakeholder groups to provide guidance on cash flow and highlight risks and opportunities.
  • Key liaison to corporate treasury to provide weekly sales forecast and demonstrate ability to motivate, influence, and gain commitment at all levels of the organization.
  • Identify and implement effective strategies to maximize cash flow positioning amongst business units.
  • Lead and oversee the month-end and rolling forecast balance sheet and capital expenditure for McKesson Canada.
  • Manage a team of 40+ employees and lead the success planning of cash flow, including magnitude of $100m to $200m for a quarter.
  • Focus on understanding business units' cash flow behaviors and proactively identify opportunities that create value.

Key qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Finance or Accounting, executive presence and acumen, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint. Bilingualism is also required.
