We're looking for a Workplace Coordinator to oversee office operations at our growing Vancouver location. The Workplace Coordinator will facilitate an ongoing positive experience for all Asana employees in Vancouver by providing consistent operational support and managing a safe, inclusive, and fun environment.

This role is based in our Vancouver office and requires working from this office Monday through Friday. If you're interviewing for this role, your recruiter will share more about the in-office requirements.

What you’ll achieve

  • Create a positive employee experience for all Vancouver Asanas by providing exceptional operational/Workplace support.
  • Manage the day-to-day running of operations in the office ensuring services are provided in an efficient manner. Including but not limited to vendor management, reception, deliveries, furniture, space planning, decor, kitchen stock, waste management, repairs & maintenance and office supplies, etc.
  • Negotiate and manage relationships, budgets, POs and contracts with landlord and facilities vendors including cleaning services, maintenance contractors, food/beverage etc.
  • Coordinate office wide Vancouver events, celebrations, and traditions, in partnership with the Internal Events and the Employee engagement teams. Be a cultural role model for other Asanas.
  • Partner with People and IT to ensure organized onboarding of new employees and ongoing smooth operational support.
  • Help coordinate and support regional onboarding sessions as needed.
  • Partner with the Global Workplace team to ensure the office meets global standards of office design, maintenance, organization and safety & security.
  • Maintain consistent and clear communication with other Workplace team members in regards to any facilities or security related concerns.

About you

  • 1-3 years of direct customer service experience, 2-5 years of office operations experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • A passion for managing an overall positive employee experience through ongoing operational support.
  • An independent worker with a driven, entrepreneurial mindset
  • A self starter, always coming up with innovative ideas to surprise & delight employees
  • Strong ability to manage competing priorities and projects
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across departments, work collaboratively, and manage conflict constructively

To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.

For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $70,000 CAD - $86,000 CAD. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.

In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
