Due to expansion, this quality, award-winning family-owned organisation, providing care and services to support people to remain living in their home as they age has an opportunity for an experienced full-time Accounts Supervisor to join their team.
The Opportunity
The Accounts Supervisor plays a vital role in the financial management of the business. Reporting to the Accountant, and working closely with the General Manager and CEO, you will manage a small finance team providing accounts receivable, payable and payroll. Day to day, you will manage the accounts payable function, oversee payroll processes and drive continuous improvements to ensure the smooth running of financial information in this end-to-end business.
This is a hands-on role and we are looking for a driven professional who is a great communicator and team player. You will enjoy working as part of a close-knit, focused and dynamic team who also like having fun whilst we work.

About you
You will have a strong working knowledge of the SCHADS award to oversee the payroll function, and ideally also have experience in aged care (home care) online claiming and producing finance statements – though if not, we are happy to provide training. To be successful in the role you will also have:
- Diploma Accounting or higher, with a minimum of three (3) years financial management experience
- Demonstrated experience in managing a small team
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and data analysis skills with a high degree of accuracy
- Strong computer skills with experience using MYOB Account Right and MS Office
- Willingness to be involved in strategic planning and business growth opportunities
You will be a permanent Australian resident and have a National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
