Overview:
A prominent firm in downtown London is seeking a proactive Staff Accountant to join their team. This role is essential for addressing various accounting needs of clients, both on-site and remotely. Responsibilities will include preparing and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements, providing training and troubleshooting, managing T1, T3, T4/T5 returns, and assisting with both personal and corporate tax planning.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and ensure the accuracy of financial statements
- Complete personal, trust, and corporate tax returns
- Assist with and/or complete personal and corporate tax planning
Qualifications & Skills:
The ideal candidate will have:
- A post-secondary degree or diploma in accounting or a related field; pursuing a CPA designation is advantageous
- At least 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a CPA firm
- Proficiency with Sage and QuickBooks
- Working knowledge of CaseWare, Taxprep, and Microsoft 365 Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to maintain strong client relationships
- A dedicated, detail-oriented work ethic with a positive attitude
- Strong computer skills and organizational capabilities
