The Regional Account Manager (Sales Manager) will be responsible for selling Refractory products and services that our customers have grown to rely on. The Regional Account Manager (Sales Manager) will be responsible for identifying prospects, establishing and enhancing relationships with potential and existing clients, and providing exceptional client service throughout their designated region.



Responsibilities

  • Identify and document specific Sales goals consistent with the Branch and Regional growth strategies.
  • Responsible for all Sales activities to achieve Branch, Regional and Corporate growth targets.
  • Develop and implement action plans using comprehensive data analysis, and modify techniques based on client needs and results in the field.
  • Manage and develop corresponding Sales & Marketing plans and execution efforts to enhance business relationships with current customers.
  • Present proposals to clients and respond to inquiries.
  • Manage Sales cycle to close new business in all products and services offered.
  • Establish relationships with new customers.
  • Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls.
  • Prepare professional, complete, concise, and accurate reports, presentations, proposals, booking packages, and other documentation as required.
  • Keep up to date on industry Sales efforts and programs in the branch territory.
  • Assist with Corporate Business Development and Marketing responsibilities.
  • Function as a company representative at community and business events or activities.


Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of Sales experience required.
  • Proven Sales & Marketing executive with vast experience in growing and developing a sales force, preferably in a branch or branch-like environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is required.
  • Previous experience in the construction industry is an asset.
  • Proven organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written skills to effectively communicate corporate business strategy to all levels within the company.
  • Strong leadership abilities to inspire and coach employees to accomplish strategic goals.
  • Ability to present a professional image and to encourage subordinates to do the same.
  • Ability to create and communicate corporate strategic direction,
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships.
  • Strong negotiation and presentations skills.
  • Excellent understanding of the Sales process with the ability to generate leads, close deals and deliver results.
  • Valid driver’s license.
