Senior Maintenance Project Coordinator

Availability Requirement:

  • Monday to Friday (Flexible schedule required)
  • 18-month contract 

As a senior maintenance project coordinator, you will:

  • Coordinate pre-construction activities, manage contracts, and oversee project coordination
  • Participate in general contractors prequalification and selection processes, prepare Tender Documentation Packages, coordinate the tender process with the construction manager, and evaluate tender analysis, comparison, and performance evaluations
  • Provide technical support to the maintenance manager on scheduling, budgeting, cost control, document review, and coordination of deliveries of owner-supplied materials.
  • support with estimates & budgets, risk minimization through contract administration, and preparation of project strategy & schedules.
  • Provide administrative support by creating purchase orders, preparing, and executing contracts, reviewing notices of change, processing progress claims and invoices, and reporting project accruals and forecasting.
  • Ensure timely communication flow with the project team and maintain & monitor project documentation.
  • Conduct regular site safety audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with our safety program.
  • Lead safety training sessions and participate in incident investigations.

What we are looking for:

  • 1+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of project management principles
  • Certificate in a project-related discipline - contracts, administration, estimating, construction technology, architecture
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications – Word, Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Ability to work within tight schedules, attention to detail, manage multiple projects with competing demands, and organize information efficiently.
  • Experience in commercial/supply chain improvement projects an asset
  • Familiarity with AUTOSTORE/Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems an asset
