The Senior Construction Project Coordinator is responsible for coordination of pre-construction activities, contract admin, and project coordination. This role reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and works closely with the Health and Safety team.

Availability Requirement

Monday to Friday (Flexible schedule required) 18-month contract

As a Senior Construction Project Coordinator, you will:

Participate on General Contractors prequalification and selection processes, preparation of the Tender Documentation Package, coordinate the Tender process in conjunction with the Construction Manager, perform and present Tender Analysis, Comparison and Evaluation, as well as coordinate and consolidate the General Contractor's Performance Evaluation(s) Provide technical support to the Maintenance Manager with regards to scheduling, budgeting cost control, document review, purchases and coordination of deliveries of owner supplied materials Provide additional technical support to Maintenance Manager, Project Managers and Health & Safety Specialist by preparing Estimates & Budgets, minimizing risks through Contract Administration, and participating on the preparation of project Strategy & Schedules Provide administrative support by creating Purchase Orders, preparing and executing Contracts, preparing and reviewing Notices of Change, processing Progress Claims and Invoices, and reporting project Accruals and Forecasting Ensure timely communication flow with project team and maintain & monitor project documentation Conduct regular site safety audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance to Best Buy's Contractor Safety Program. Lead safety training sessions and participate in incident investigations.

The Experience We Need:

1+ years of previous experience in a similar role or working dynamics Strong user of MS Office applications - formatting, Excel spreadsheets, emailing, creating documents and presentations Knowledge of project management applied principles with a proven track record of successful projects in a support role Certificate in project related discipline - contracts, administration, estimating, construction technology, architecture

Work within tight schedule attention to detail working on multiple projects with competing demands filing and organizing information continuous improvement and learning

Bonus points

Experience in commercial / supply chain improvement projects Familiarity with AUTOSTORE/ Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems
