Job Description:

As a Service Perimeter Manager, you analyze, configure, maintain and develop the information contained in CMDB (Configuration Management Database) type enterprise repositories to meet the needs of the Vice-Presidency.

You are responsible for the quality of the information (service maps) found in the repositories and describing the Property and Casualty Insurance application park. This information is critical in nature and mainly helps meet the needs of operationalizing solutions, impact analyses and compliance.

Your role is to validate the scope of the elements that must be managed in the repositories, to decide on the related management rules, to coordinate the activity with stakeholders (other service perimeter managers, IT architects, configuration analysts, developer analysts, etc.), to participate in various committees, to lead and keep the documentation up to date, to communicate on the status of the repository, etc.

You analyze the update needs required when initiatives (e.g. projects) impact the application park. You plan, prioritize and coordinate the work in order to keep the commitments made in line with the objectives to be achieved. The nature of the files and projects requires cross-functional knowledge of the technologies and infrastructures used in Property and Casualty Insurance.

There are frequent connections. You are called upon to interact with various stakeholders working in complementary areas of expertise. You act as a reference and resource person for your unit, clients and various stakeholders.

Requirements and qualifications required

Required profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science/technology or in an appropriate discipline
  • Senior analyst, able to support cross-functional and complex analyses
  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience
  • Experience in application management (asset)
  • Experience in CMDB repository management (asset)

Specific knowledge:

Service Now CMDB platform

Requires a good understanding of the technological infrastructures and technology stacks making up the application park

Knowledge of the Property and Casualty Insurance sector, an asset

Fluency in French (written and oral)

Fluency in intermediate-advanced English, written and oral, as the incumbent may be required to collaborate with resources outside Quebec (asset)

Description du poste

Mode de travail : Hybride (un minimum de 2 jours/semaine en présentiel est requis)

À titre de Gestionnaire de Périmètre de Service, vous analysez, configurez, maintenez et faites évoluer les informations contenues dans les référentiels d'entreprise de type CMDB (Configuration Management Database) pour répondre aux besoins de la Vice-Présidence.

Vous êtes responsables de la qualité de l'information (cartes de services) qui se trouve dans les référentiels et décrivant le parc applicatif de l'Assurance de Dommages. Ces informations sont de nature critique, et permettent principalement de répondre à des besoins d'opérationnalisation des solutions, d'analyses d'impacts et de conformité.

Votre rôle consiste à valider le périmètre des éléments qui doivent être gérés dans les référentiels, à décider des règles de gestion afférentes, à coordonner l’activité avec les parties prenantes (autres gestionnaires de périmètre de service, architectes TI, analystes de configuration, analystes-développeurs…), à participer à différents comités, à animer et maintenir à jour la documentation, à communiquer sur l'état du référentiel…

Vous analysez les besoins de mise à jour requis lorsque des initiatives (ex. : projets) impactent le parc applicatif. Vous planifiez, hiérarchisez et coordonnez le travail afin de tenir les engagements pris en phase avec les objectifs à atteindre. La nature des dossiers et des projets exige des connaissances transverses des technologies et des infrastructures utilisées à l'Assurance de Dommages.

Les arrimages sont fréquents. Vous êtes appelé à interagir avec diverses parties prenantes œuvrant dans des domaines d’expertise complémentaires. Vous agissez à titre de référence et de personne-ressource auprès de votre unité, des clients et divers intervenants.

Exigences et qualifications requises

Profil recherché:

  • Baccalauréat en informatique/technologie ou dans une discipline appropriée
  • Analyste sénior, en mesure de prendre en charge des analyses transverses et complexes
  • Un minimum de six ans d’expérience pertinente
  • Expérience en gestion de parc applicatif (atout)
  • Expérience en gestion de référentiel CMDB (atout)

Connaissances spécifiques:

  • Plateforme Service Now CMDB
  • Requiert une bonne compréhension des infrastructures technologiques et des piles technologiques composant le parc applicatif
  • Connaissance du secteur de l'Assurance de Dommages, un atout
  • Maîtrise du français (écrit et oral)
  • Maîtrise de l'anglais de niveau intermédiaire-avancé, écrit et oral, car il se pourrait que le titulaire du poste soit amené à collaborer avec des ressources à l’extérieur du Québec (atout)
