We are looking for a Business Development Representative – National Capital Region (Ottawa)Reporting to the Director of Business Development, a successful candidate will possess the skills

- Business or Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Technology Certification.
- 5 plus years of related industry experience.
- Valid driver’s license, as frequent travel is required.
- Network within government organizations.
- Understanding of public tendering processes
- Experience in the either security/surveillance, or telecommunication, or mining segment (Northern Quebec) is an asset
- Self-starter, with experience working in a remote position
- Proactively pursue applicable Off-Grid Power applications and opportunities within various industries, primarily focused on the government entities.
- Development of sales strategies and delivery of presentations.
- Create new sales opportunities through prospecting calls.
- Research and build relationships with new clients.
- Provide detailed sales reports using CRM tools on customer projects and opportunities.
- Drive growth to meet or exceed yearly booking targets.
- Strong team approach/collaboration with Management, Service, Production, and Peers.
