**ANALYST, CORPORATE PLANNING AND REPORTING**:
The Public, Legal and Corporate Affairs Branch is looking for a Corporate Planning and Reporting Analyst for an indeterminate position. The position is classified as a RÉ-05 ($68, 641 to $91,072 per annum). 2021 rates - salary under review.

**JOB OVERVIEW**
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Planning and Reporting, you will act as a liaison between the NCC, its federal partners, and central agencies on strategic planning and policy matters. You will contribute to the development and implementation of the NCC’s strategic planning and reporting initiatives and support related government processes to ensure legislative and accountability requirements are met. You will collect, analyze and synthesize data to contribute to the development of key strategic planning and reporting documents.

**ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS**:
**EDUCATION**
A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in Public Administration, Business Administration, Political Science, or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

**EXPERIENCE**
Three to five years of experience in at least one of the following areas;- strategic planning
- corporate reporting
- corporate performance measurement and risk management

**KNOWLEDGE**
- Of performance measurement and reporting theories and practices.
- Of legislation, and policies relevant to corporate planning and reporting such as the Financial Administration Act.

**ABILITIES**
- To conduct research; collect, synthesize and interpret complex data for corporate use.
- To provide input for strategic planning and reporting documents such as Annual Report, Corporate Plan, Financial reports etc.
- To prepare briefing notes, business cases and other corporate documents for internal and external stakeholders.
- To communicate effectively orally and in writing in both official languages.

**ASSETS**
- Knowledge of industry best practices in project management or benefits management (*evidenced through PM/BM professional certification or courses).
- Knowledge of current and emerging practices in performance measurement, integrated business planning, reporting and/or risk management practices and processes within the Government of Canada.
- Experience in leading stakeholder engagement efforts, conducting lessons learned, and presenting results and inputs on corporate initiatives to senior management on files such as:

- Integrated Business Planning
- Risk Profiles
- Corporate Reporting
- Horizontal Initiatives
- Performance measurement framework design, including program dashboards- Experience working and using Excel functions and using analytical tools or software.

**CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**
- Possess or eligible to obtain Secret security clearance.
- Linguistic profile: Bilingual BBB
- Position is in the National Capital Region. The person selected for this position must reside within a commutable distance from the workplace at 40 Elgin Street, Ottawa, Ontario.
- The National Capital Commission offers a hybrid and flexible work environment, all employees are currently asked to work on-site at least two (2) days per week.
