Overview

The Payroll Administrative Assistant contributes to the success of PepsiCo Beverages Canada by providing payroll and general administrative support for the Ottawa location.

Responsibilities
  1. Centralised payroll management for hourly and commissioned employees across multiple locations in North East Ontario.
  2. Supporting commission pay for all employees in Ontario.
  3. Timecard reviews and adjustments.
  4. Generate and facilitate review of CCO, CATS report weekly.
  5. Generate employee roster report and facilitate review.
  6. Facilitate tracking of pay progression and make adjustments as needed.
  7. Track and flag sick/vacation usage to department leaders.
  8. Track probation completion.
  9. Maintain location seniority lists.
  10. Maintaining key safety and quality trackers.
  11. Provide ongoing support for the Ottawa Team.
Qualifications
  1. Previous Payroll experience required.
  2. Previous experience in a union environment.
  3. 3-5 years of administrative experience required.
  4. Successful completion of an administrative/office management program preferred.
  5. Experience with payroll and invoicing programs.
  6. Successful completion of high school diploma required.
  7. Professional accomplishments that reflect self-motivation and initiative.
  8. Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint required.
  9. Excellent communication and customer service skills required.
  10. Ability to multi-task is essential.
  11. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills required.
  12. Must be self-motivated, punctual with demonstrated professional maturity.
  13. Kronos and SAP experience an asset.
  14. Microsoft Office experience required.
  15. Able to work weekends or holidays as required.
