Coordinator, Digital Marketing & Communications

Location:

The Coordinator, Digital Marketing & Communications, will play a pivotal role in executing OTA digital marketing strategies and ensuring effective communication across various online channels. In this role, the incumbent is passionate about digital marketing trends, possesses excellent communication skills, and has a keen eye for detail. This role will report to the Manager, Special Projects & Administration and the Director, Finance & Administration.

Responsibilities:

1. Website Administration

  • Facilitate the maintenance and timely updates of the OTA website, ensuring content accuracy and relevance.
  • Conduct ongoing site functionality and usability testing for PC, mobile, and tablet.
  • Assist with the development of instruction manuals as required.
  • Collaborate with web hosts and the Manager, Special Projects & Administration, to implement changes and improvements.

2. Content and Graphic Creation

  • Generate engaging and relevant content for the OTA’s digital platforms.
  • Ensure content is accurate, current, and integrated throughout all platforms.
  • Enhance content through the design of engaging graphic/visual material for posting on the website and other platforms.
  • Assists with the maintenance and development of content libraries consisting of photography, graphics, video, text, and audio.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing Manager to ensure the weekly release of OT SPIN newsletter via Constant Contact. Select key stories to further highlight via social media.
  • Manage and monitor social media accounts to improve OTA brand awareness, increase engagement, and enhance its online presence.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing and communication strategies, including coordinated workplans and schedules across web, social media, email, and search engine marketing.

4. Analytics & Reporting

  • Utilize analytics tools to track key performance indicators for digital marketing initiatives.
  • Provide evaluation and analysis of web, email, and social media statistics using analytics and reporting tools.

5. Collaboration and Coordination

  • Liaise with OTA staff to gather relevant information and content.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure seamless execution of integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Enhance OTA documents/communication materials (i.e.: presentations, decks, handouts, manuals, etc.) with compelling visuals and updated layouts.
  • Other duties as required.

Salary: $18 - $22/hour (based on experience)

Schedule: 40 hours a week, with the flexibility

Qualifications:

  • Degree/Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Web Design, Web Development, Information Management, Digital Media or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience writing and editing content for the web and creating web pages using content management systems.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, or related graphic design and web development applications.
  • Experience in content management and organization, information architecture, website design and standards, search engine optimization, and responsive web design.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms for social media management, email marketing software, and analytics tools.
  • Artistic, creative, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with tennis or a sports background is a strong asset..
